The issue of pace of play has featured also in international golf press, for example the recent article in the Golf World magazine. The data GREENi service collects has multiple applications. One of these is to tell daily and expected roundtime on the golf course to golfers when they are just preparing for their round: High quality GREENi infochannel display can tell, for example, at what time it is expected the 12:00 o'clock group to be back from their round of golf. This can be seen as good additional service to golfers and will increase the quality of the services at the golf club.

In fact, in our statistics we can find only one golf club in Finland, where the average round time on the 18 hole course falls below four hours. In addition, there are couple of English golf courses were the round time was just over four hoursl
Fortunately, quite many of the golfclubs using GREENi services have understood this and the “ideal roundtime” is defined ...

As always, recession or downturn in economics seems to affect to marketing efforts first. Companies downsize their marketing budgets and hesitate to try new channels and communicating methods. That leads to situation when the effects of one euro spent to marketing gives less because less spending gives less visibility in traditional media.
However, old wisdom says that now is just right time to market. When others are quiet, company has a good possibility to get good attention. One euro spent can give even more if you use it wisely so that it reaches the target group just right time on ...
